At the heart of Kian Design is our love of creating unique and special custom designs. The process is very simple, straightforward and enjoyable. Whether you're designing a ring, bracelet, earrings, or necklace, here's how we'll collaborate to bring your vision to life
Your journey begins with a consultation with our lead designer, Kian Dastyar. During this meeting, Kian will explore your preferences, review any images or ideas you've gathered, and collaborate with you to develop an initial design.
Once the design is finalized, we create a digital 3D model using CAD software. This allows you to visualize a realistic representation of your jewellery and make any adjustments before proceeding to the next step.
If it is too difficult to visualise the photo-realistic image, a resin model of your piece can be produced. You’ll have the opportunity to examine this model closely, and if it’s a ring, you can even try it on to ensure it meets your expectations.
Once the photographic renderings are approved, we'll assist you in choosing the precious metals such as 18k gold or platinum and gemstones for your piece. Kian will guide you through selecting stones that not only enhance the design but also align with your personal preferences.
We then create a wax model from the final 3D CAD file using a 3D wax printer. This step ensures that the wax model precisely matches your digital design.
The wax model is cast into gold or platinum using the lost wax casting method, resulting in the creation of your jewellery piece.
The selected gemstones are set into the jewellery using techniques suited to the design, ensuring a secure and beautiful finish.
The piece is then assembled, cleaned, and polished to achieve the desired finish.
Before delivery, your custom jewelry undergoes rigorous quality control checks to ensure it meets both Kian’s high standards and your expectations.
